My husband and I were born and raised in Weaverville, North Carolina. When we were married in 1981, we knew we wanted to raise our children here. We wanted them to experience the same friendly people and the slower paced, charming town that we had enjoyed all of our lives. And we did. As our two young men head off for college, they are proud to call Western North Carolina their home.
Before I started selling Real Estate with M7 Realty Solutions, I had the pleasure of executing many weddings, company events, etc. with M7 Event Solutions. It was always a pleasure seeing the reactions of many of our visitors from all over the country when they took in the beauty of our Blue Ridge Mountains. My husband, Michael, and our 8 year old daughter, Larissa, and I moved to Mars Hill, NC in July of '06 from Key West, FL. I grew up on a large Iowa farm and then lived in Key West for 26 years. I wanted my daughter to have horses and know the seasons so we chose this area and purchased our property in 1999. We love the mountains and all the outdoor activities such as white water rafting, hiking, camping, skiing, and horse-back riding. Besides the gorgeous land and scenery, we have been impressed with the wonderful, friendly, happy people who live in WNC. We intend to stay here permanently. I love helping people and I love the Earth; so helping others to realize their dreams by helping them find their perfect mountain home is the answer to my dreams as well.

Trying to escape the hub bub of the North East, where Elaine originally hails from, she chose Weaverville as a new home because of three things: serenity of surroundings; mild weather with beautiful mountain views and just plain nice people. She tried escaping to Florida in 1997, where she lived for 12 years, but it just didn't have what Weaverville has.
While in Florida, Elaine became a licensed Realtor in 2007. Her interest in Real Estate began when she was promoted at her previous job with the St. Petersburg Times to Pasco Times Real Estate Specialist (2002-2007), when she began working exclusively with area Realtors and helping them with their personal marketing plans. And the number one comment she heard from tourists as their main reason for vacationing in Asheville was "to buy real estate."
